Medical Call Center Representative Job Opening in Glen Rock, New jersey - Busy orthopedic practice is seeking multiple Call Center Specialists.
Duties include :
-Schedule appointments
-Answer telephones promptly and in a polite and professional manner
-Schedule appointments correctly-review appointment date, time, location and provider name with caller
-Answer questions and offer other information, as requested, to provide patient-focused service and a positive impression
-Direct calls to other departments as needed
-Use sound judgment in handling calls, especially with upset patients
-Understanding of when to escalate calls to physicians/practice manager/triage nurse
-Provide assistance with mailing and other projects as call volume permits
-Other duties assigned
Requirements:
High School or GED required. Associate's Degree or related healthcare certification preferred.
One year of experience in customer service and/or related clinical environment; working knowledge of medical terminology
Bilingual in Spanish helpful
Salary based on experience
