We are seeking a Project Manager, M&A (CONTRACT) for our team located in Cambridge, MA .
The Project Manager, Mergers and Acquisitions will be responsible for creating or expanding the merger and acquisition accounting strategy to support the growth of the Company through acquisitions of business and strategic assets.
Also responsible for managing the full spectrum of technical accounting related to the acquisitions of businesses, from the due diligence phase through the integration phase, including evaluation deal models, coordination of internal and external accounting and valuation specialists, performance or coordination of related internal control procedures and performance or coordination of activities to support internal and external audits of M&A related accounting.
Develop and drive strategies and to set global standards. The functions are essential to providing a bridge between strategic vision and operational readiness, to ensure ongoing functional innovation and capability improvement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor?s degree (B.A. /B.S.) or equivalent in accounting or related discipline.
Master?s Degree in Business Administration preferred.
Eight years related experience with at least three of the required years with a national or regional CPA firm and/or commercial company with consolidation.
Global pharmaceutical, biotechnology & CRO experience vital.
Equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above.
: CPA strongly preferred.
