About Us:
Cowboy Wholesale is an electronics distributor company based in midtown New York. We are looking for a smart, quick-to-learn Accounting and Purchasing Associate. This is an entry-level role.
We sell a wide range of products, including Bluetooth speakers, headphones, and mobile phones. As a young company, we?re looking for self-driven, entrepreneurial individuals who know how to get things done and want to grow.
Your Job:
AP
Manage check schedule and incoming checks
Enter accounts payable invoices
Organize and file invoices
Audit and reconcile invoices
AR
Handle all customer invoices and payments
Perform regular collections, including via
Prepare daily deposits
Input sales orders and credit memos into system
Input purchase orders into system
Manage new and existing SKUs
Other responsibilities as needed
Your Qualifications:
Bachelor?s Degree in Accounting or related field, with minimum 1-2 years of experience
Fast typer; must have strong WPM (words-per-minute) rate
Strong proficiency in Excel
Familiarity with Quickbooks, Lightspeed POS, or other ERP systems preferred
Pro-active, with willingness to learn
