Ozark Guidance Center is currently seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for our large non-profit, CARF accredited, community mental health center serving approximately 8,000 individuals annually in Northwest Arkansas. The CFO works closely with the Executive Leadership and Ozark Guidance?s Board of Directors to provide financial leadership for the comprehensive behavioral healthcare system. Position Open: Chief Financial Officer
Ozark Guidance is currently seeking a dynamic Financial Executive with at least ten years of senior executive level experience in a Healthcare organization. Candidates must show a strong employment history with progressive growth throughout their career. The ideal candidate will have a previous position as a financial officer, operations officer or controller within a successful organization demonstrating:
Strong financial performance and fiscal solvency
Revenue and expense management, financial relationships, capital management, experience with real estate, contracts and leases
Achievement of strategic goals
Management of financial risks
Conformance with all relevant laws and regulations
Job Duties :
Setting strategy and direction on all fiscal matters
Annual Budget Development and associated reporting
Building, developing and leading the fiscal department
Financial leadership management and control
Liaison to OGC Board of Directors and Foundation Board of Trustees
Job Responsibilities
Provide overall executive leadership, management, and budgeting of fiscal matters for the organization, foundation and HUD owned properties
Asset and risk management
Attend meetings of the Board of Directors and Board of Trustees and its committees, as needed. Performs all other duties that may be assigned by the Board or which are necessary in the best interest of Ozark Guidance Center, Inc.
Manage Accounting department, including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
Manage all billing functions services rendered
Grants and Contract management
Pension Committee management
Board Finance Committee liaison
Requirements:
Master?s degree required or equivalent; CPA certification
Currently working or a recent work history as a CFO/Executive Director/Senior Behavioral Health Executive
GAAP and GASB experience
A working knowledge of health management
An understanding of issues related to Arkansas Medicaid reform
Knowledge and experience in reimbursement of services related to behavioral health management to include Medicaid, Medicare and third party insurances
Demonstrate a high level of integrity, honesty and professionalism at all times
