Accounting Specialist Job Opening in Blacksburg, Virginia - This family owned business has a new full-time opening in its Blacksburg corporate offices.
Candidates for the Accounting Associate role should be naturally positive, ready to help, and open to working with a diverse group of individuals. Responsibilities will include bi-weekly processing of payroll, basic data entry/reporting, audit, and assisting the Accounting Manager with daily tasks.
For ultimate success in this position, the candidate will need to be able to work in an environment that includes frequent interruptions while maintaining the ability to comply with strict deadlines. The candidate must also be self-driven and skilled at problem-solving. Previous experience with accounting/payroll processes, as well as knowledge of Quickbooks software, is preferred, but not required.
