Tax Accountant/CPA Job Opening in Virginia Beach, Virginia - Knapp and Co. is a small public accounting firm in Virginia Beach in need of an experienced CPA, EA or tax preparer for tax and some audit work. Do you have a minimum of 2 years experience at a CPA firm? Are you self-motivated, analytical, independent & organized with excellent verbal and written communication skills? If so, we may be the perfect fit for you.
We offer a broad spectrum of services similar to a large firm, with a small firm feel giving our clients personalized high quality service. We provide tax, business management, bookkeeping and audit services. We believe in working hard and playing hard. We provide great benefits, offer casual Fridays and take Fridays off during the summer months.
Qualifications and requirements:
Licensed EA, CPA or equivalent with 2+ years experience in public tax and accounting
Solid foundation working with individual and business taxation, including S-Corp, C-Corp, Partnership and Trust
Proficient with ProSeries or Lacerte Tax preferred, but not required
Working knowledge of QuickBooks software
Solid accounting and analytical skills
