Director of Technical Accounting and Reporting Job Opening in Reston, Virginia - We are conducting a search for a Director, Technical Accounting and Reporting with a dynamic leader in the technology industry, The person in this role will be responsible for analyzing new pronouncements(Revenue, Leasing...) and determining how those pronouncements will effect the company and make recommendations as to changes that should be made in policies and processes and implement those changes. They will also be a point of contact with the external auditors. They will be responsible for management reporting and accounting for acquisitions and other transactions. This person will oversee one Senior Manager and one Staff, so they are looking for a "doer" as well as a "mentor."
The ideal candidate will be a CPA with 10+ years of experience with a mix of public accounting and corporate accounting with a large complex company.
