Senior Accountant
We're looking for the right candidate to help us scale the business and provide important financial leadership and interacting with all parts of the business.
Position Purpose
As the Senior Accountant you are responsible to plan, organize and implement all financial activities for the various Related Companies according to clearly defined Company policies and procedures.
Job Qualifications
Personal compatibility with Company corporate culture and values
Good communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
Extremely proficient in higher level accounting functions including forecasting and budgets
Familiar with QuickBooks and other software programs
Excellent planning, organizational and multi-tasking skills
Meticulous and detail oriented
Good interpersonal skills, particularly in leading and working with a team
Consistently able to meet deadlines
Highest level of integrity and trust to handle confidential materials
Ability to handle multiple projects and adapt to new and changing situations
Minimum Bachelors degree in Accounting or related degree
CMA or CPA certification a plus, but not required
Minimum 5 years? experience as Senior Accountant or Controller
Duties and Responsibilities
Planning and managing the accounting and finance operations of the Company to assure accurate and timely compliance with accounting industry, government and lenders standards, regulations and covenants
Plan and manage cash flow and operating costs of the organizations
Manage outside relationships with Accounting Firm and other relevant vendors/suppliers
Manages budgeting and strategic planning
Manage documentation of policies and procedures and train others as needed
Full charge accounting functions including timely and accurate financial statements, general ledger and monthly closing entries
Generating multiple financial reports as needed by leadership
Administrating payroll in conjunction with payroll service
Managing bank accounts and credit cards
Processing documents related to operations and cash management
Managing all accounts payable and receivable
Provide counsel on Company decisions
Analyzing and helping management improve operations and reduce costs
Manage accounting, finance,and cost management
