Mountain View Regional Hospital, an affiliate of National Surgical Healthcare (NSH), is seeking a dynamic CNO to lead the nursing division in our specialty hospital in Casper, Wyoming.
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the CNO is responsible for the leadership, management and execution of the daily operations related to patient care for in-patient and any clinically related outpatient ancillary services of the hospital.
Responsibilities include:
Manage and direct clinical operations including recruitment and retention, cost effective operations, scheduling, physician engagement, clinical informatics, survey readiness, regulatory compliance, and all other clinical aspects for multiple service lines, inpatient and outpatient.
Serve as a member and facilitator for medical staff committees, quality committees and an integral member of the executive leadership of the facility.
Develop, assess, plan, implement and evaluate clinically effective and efficient systems of care and service while ensuring that the organizational mission, philosophy, goals and objectives are met.
Create and implement all policies and procedures related to clinical operations
Provide strong leadership, development, coaching, and mentoring to the clinical management staff.
The ideal candidate will have a solid working knowledge of clinical and financial management, budget responsibilities and timeline management.
Prior recent experience with HFAP, State and CMS surveys and standards, and quality management
Previous experience as a hospital Administrator, Director or CNO is required in a hospital preferably with surgery as a major service line.
Experience working in a physician-owned environment strongly desired.
BSN is required with a preference for a Masters.
