Optical Sales Manager Job Opening in Herndon, Virginia - Busy, professional and friendly 3 doctor optometry practice in Herndon, VA, looking for a good optical sales manager to join our team. Candidate must be able to oversee all aspects of our optical department including:
Supervision, instruction, and training of optical staff.
Excellent customer service.
Accurate interpretation and filing of vision care and insurance optical benefits (primarily VSP and Eyemed).
Frame board management and tray management.
Optical merchandising and keeping our optical area clean, orderly, presentable, and enticing to patients.
Quality control. Must be proficient in manual lensometry, and take extra pride in guaranteeing the accuracy of all prescriptions.
Properly measure (utilize MEyeFit), dispense and adjust eyeglasses.
Ability to quickly learn and navigate our office practice management system (Compulink).
Providing tangible feedback, suggestions and implementation methods to improve and increase sales to the Office Manager and Owner.
Work to continually improve office sales, productivity and the bottom line.
Demonstrate appropriate team player attitude and enthusiasm.
Good pay and benefits based on experience and references, with additional pay incentives available based on performance and production. License preferred but not required. Some evenings and Saturdays required (closed Sundays).
