Assistant Director of Nursing Services (ADNS/ADON/RN) - Pols... Job Opening in Polson, Montana - EmpRes Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as the Assistant Director of Nursing Services at Polson Health and Rehab Center! Located just north of Missoula.

GENERAL SUMMARY
Is directly accountable to the Director of Nursing Services for the day-to-day operations, activities and success of the resident care; and staff performance on unit as governed by Center policies and state and federal regulations. Assist with development and validation that the unit continues to develop and maintain high standards of excellence by being knowledgeable of industry changes and trends, and by implementing up-to-date nursing practices.
Assist DNS with supervising day-to-day activities of licensed and non-licensed staff.
Assist with hiring nursing staff.
Assist DNS with implementation of policies for residents and Center staff, employee evaluations, and resolving problems involving employee disciplinary actions. Working hours are flexed to assist with Federal and State required nursing hours, including RN coverage.
Communicate with physicians on behalf of residents to clarify orders and/or assist/direct unit nurse with transcribing and initiating orders.
Perform dutites of DNS in abscence of DNS.
Conduct compliance rounds on units several times a day to validate consistent delivery of care in a manner that maintains and promotes residents rights and to validate residents are free from abuse.
Monitor day-to-day clinical issues, provides of Center systems and procedures on an ongoing basis.
Other duties as assigned and appropriate to the position.

Registered Nurse; BSN degree preferred.
Current licensure in the state of employment.
Minimum two years' experience in a nursing supervisor role preferred.
