Horizon Health is seeking a Nurse Manager for its Behavioral Health Unit, an acute, inpatient adult and geriatric inpatient psychiatric program, located at St. Peter's Hospital in Helena, MT.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Nurse Manager plans, implements, and evaluates delivery of overall nursing care to patients for the adult and geriatric inpatient psychiatric units at our client, St. Peter's Hospital in beautiful Helena, MT.
He/she provides managerial support in conjunction with the Program Director by providing supervision and evaluation of all nursing personnel on the unit. He/she contributes to the program, nursing, and hospital through commitment to nursing goals, the supervision of clinical staff, and participation in the community relations program.
St. Peter?s Hospital in Helena, MT is an independent, community-based, 99-bed facility that partners with its patients, community, and medical staff to provide exceptional and compassionate healthcare. St. Peter?s is accredited by the Joint Commission and is the recipient of numerous national, regional, and state awards.
Situated in the western central part of Montana, at the base of the Rocky Mountains, Helena is not far from many Montana highlights. Yellowstone Park is a 3.5 hour drive to the South and Glacier park is 3.5 hours to the North. Bozeman and Missoula are each a 1.5 hour drive, and both Great Falls and Butte are about 1 hour away. Billings (the largest city in Montana) is about a 3.5 hour drive to the east.

Job Requirements
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prefer 2-3 years' management or charge experience in an inpatient psychiatric setting. BSN or MSN, and minimum of 3-5 years Psych Charge Nurse, Assistant Nurse Manager, or Nurse Manager experience preferred.
