Job Summary:
Part-time or full-time
Seeking experienced professionals to provide ongoing care and companionship to enhance the quality of our clients' lives. We require mature caregivers who are team players, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Working within a multi-disciplinary team led by an RN, the Lifestyle Assistant will be responsible for:
- Assisting the client with personal care such as dressing, hygiene, mobility, toileting, eating and other activities of daily living;
- Accompanying clients to medical and other appointments;
- Facilitating client's time with other helping professionals;
- Report and document any changes in client's health status and undertake necessary steps to ensure client's safety and well-being to the family and support team;
- Demonstrate initiative and professionalism at all times with client's families and community contacts;
- Assist the client with appropriate socialization activities as per the client's choice and emotional needs.
Knowledge, Education and Skill Requirements:
- Montana Certified Nurse Aide is preferred but not required;
- Current CPR;
- Knowledge working with seniors;
- Highly adaptable and receptive to diversity;
- Must have a positive attitude and be committed to fostering a healthy team environment;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required;
- Valid Driver's License and auto insurance.
Desired Qualifications:
1+ to 2 years of experience preferred but not required
Must be a good human-free training for qualified candidates
Starting wage for CNAs $15.00, others $13.00+
