Tax Accountant Job Opening in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania - Job Type: Permanent
Seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Tax Accountant with strong analytical skills to support the continued growth of a specialized professional services firm. The multi-tasking Tax Accountant will perform corporate federal and state tax compliance, planning and research; and other tax related initiatives. Core responsibilities include:
Preparing standalone and consolidated corporate federal and state income tax returns.
Preparing income tax accrual calculations
Assisting with tax return filing requirements for foreign operations.
Conducting federal and state tax research.
Assisting with review memorandums to support tax return filing positions and special projects as required, with the goal of minimizing tax expense.
Position Qualifications
Bachelor?s Degree in Accounting or related field. MST or advanced degree a plus.
CPA preferred.
At least 2 years? experience performing corporate income tax compliance, research and planning within a public accounting or corporate tax environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. Experience with Corptax, ONESOURCE, or GoSystem RS. Working knowledge with online tax research tools (CCH, RIA, BNA).
