Exciting newly created Accountant opportunity with a growing, $500M manufacturing Co. in Lehigh Valley. This person will report directly to Controller and gain full exposure to accounting and analysis - responsible for manufacturing product?s inventory, tracking costs, analyzing variances and costing of materials. This is a terrific opportunity for those with manufacturing and inventory experience looking for upward mobility with a company that has begun an aggressive projected growth plan!
Responsibilities ? Accountant
Analyze variances and create inventory analysis
Assist with prep of annual budgets and forecasts
Assist with internal control improvements
Monitor variances and zero cost report
Create bill of materials, post inventory transactions, verify costs of goods
Assist with financial statement prep, monthly close process and analysis
Track capital expenditures
Requirements ? Accountant
Bachelor?s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related major
2+ years experience in manufacturing industry
1 + year Inventory and cost accounting experience (preferred)
Analytical problem solver with ambition and top communication skills
