Sales Development Representative (Outbound Calls) Job Opening in Cary, North carolina - Smartlink Health Solutions, a leading provider of chronic care management and mobile patient communication solutions based in Cary, NC is seeking an individual to help drive new business growth in physician practices and clinics nationwide. This position will be responsible for engaging physicians or office administrators in a dialogue about key business challenges and opportunity such as the CMS Chronic Care Management program and patient engagement strategies.
Possible promotion to an Associate Sales role based on high performance.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Making outbound calls to a provided list of nationwide healthcare practices with the goal of scheduling appointments for assigned Regional Sales Directors/Directors of Strategic Alliances with interested parties
Helping to drive attendance to regional events
Following up on previous reminder
Logging activity in Salesforce
Required skills:
Highly self-motivated and self sufficient
Comfortable speaking with physicians and business office managers
Have at least 1 year of and cold-calling experience
Have worked under an incentive or quota-based sales compensation package
Comfortable in a fast paced, start-up culture
Familiar with or other similar CRM systems
Understands Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Prior B2B experience in IT services, software or supplies to healthcare practices a plus

Have excellent sales and objection handling skills
