100% EMPLOYEE OWNED Company with over 75 years of experience, Terrazzo & Marble Supply (T&M) is one of the largest distributors of natural stone slab and tile, poured-in-place terrazzo and quartz surfacing. We are looking for an additional future employee owner to join our accounting team.

Description
Staff Accountant is responsible for completing the tasks in each of the following accounting units and completing special projects as assigned as part of the general help for accounting department.
Accounting unit responsibility overview:
Accounting:
Monthly reconciliation of specific general ledger accounts
Bank reconciliation
Sales tax reporting
Assist with general ledger entries
Assist with month end/year/end closing
Assist/Complete special accounting projects as assigned
Accounts Receivables:
Maintain/Update customer info
Review sales tax certificates
Assist in month closing
Accounts Payable:
Assist in processing of specific invoices
Reconcile corporate credit card
Assist in month closing
Process 1099?s
The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor or an Associate?s Degree in Accounting or Finance, ADVANCED MS Excel skills , 1-2 years of related experience is required, must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of staff, and be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
