Tax Seniors provide compliance and consulting to our clients, maintaining relationships with clients, working in a variety of industries and markets. You will be responsible for:
Preparing and reviewing complex individual, partnership, corporate and estate and trust tax returns
Participating in Federal, state and local tax planning projects
Dealing with IRS, state and local authorities
Overseeing and coordinating year end projections and quarterly estimates
Participating in business development for both new clients and existing clients, cultivating and strengthening our relationships
Assisting in practice initiatives; mentoring, training and business development and participation in our community service efforts
Qualifications :
The position requires:
Experience in preparing and reviewing income tax returns for all types of entities
A minimum of 2-5 years experience
CPA, CPA eligible or Masters in Tax desired, but not required
Strong communication skills
Knowledge of ProSystem FX a plus
Strong computer skills and experience in a paperless environment
Ability to manage jobs, meet deadlines and budgets
Willingness to learn and be a team player
Knowledge of CPA industry practices and requirements
