Customer Support Specialist Job Opening in Cincinnati, Ohio - Responsibilities
Upside Innovations is looking for a full-time Customer Support Specialist to provide outstanding service to our customers and internal team members. Working primarily with the sales and accounting teams, the position will support the order life cycle, from account setup through invoicing and receipt of payment. The position reports to the Accounting and HR Manager for the company but also works closely with the sales team.
Specific Responsibilities Include:
· New customer account set up
· Credit reference processing
· Generate credit card / prepayment invoices
· Review customer purchase orders and contracts for accuracy and to meet company requirements (with guidance)
· Invoicing customers
· Collection of past due accounts
· Coordinate paperwork and certifications needed for field product installers
· Issue certificates of insurance to customers following contract requirements and company guidelines
· Communicate with customers to schedule installations, resolve discrepancies and missing information, prepare bills of lading, schedule shipments, conduct follow-up surveys
· Maintain CRM software
· Act as a liaison between customers, sales and production to provide timely information internally and externally
· Other administrative support functions as required
Skills and Qualifications:
Must be detail oriented and demonstrate a high degree of accuracy in all their work
Must have excellent organization skills and the ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
Project management, Microsoft Office and QuickBooks experience is helpful. Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Must be able to interact successfully with people across the organization and have a team orientation
Previous administrative, customer support and/or accounts receivable experience is preferred
A minimum of 2 years of business experience is required
Education:
Must have a HS degree with some college courses. An Associate?s degree in business or construction management is a strong plus.
