Ice King is searching for a dependable, adaptable individual to serve as our Accounting-Admin Assistant . The Accounts Admin Assistant completes payments and controls expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices in large volumes. Full time position with immediate opening. Pay is depending on experience. No phone calls please.
Responsibilities:
Charges expenses to accounts by analyzing invoice/expense reports; recording entries.
Receives and verifies invoices and requisitions for goods and services
Verifies that transactions comply with financial policies and procedures
Reconciles daily statements and related transactions
Maintains accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions.
Verifies vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.
Prepares checks for punctual vendor payment
Maintains accounts payable and vendor files
Audits and disburses petty cash by recording entry and verifying documentation.
Learns title process
Helps with month end- prepares spreadsheets
Performs other related tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
One year of related basic accounting experience
One- two years? experience in QuickBooks
Two years of Administrative Assistance
Intermediate level experience with Excel
Demonstrated track record of success in accounts payable, or related accounting position
Ability to effectively interact with other employees and vendors
Strong writing, collaboration, and communication skills required
Proficiency with basic computer software, data entry skills, and general math skills are required
Attention to detail, thoroughness, and organization
