Corticon Business Rules Developer Job Opening in Baltimore, Maryland - This is a great opportunity for talented Corticon Business Rules developers to join our team. The developers will join a long term project that is funded for 2+ years in maintaining and extending a complex Corticon Business Rules system that has multiple services accessed by Java/JEE based Web and Services applications.

Job Responsibilities
Maintain a complex set of Corticon business rules in the existing platform, including making significant updates to the rules based on changing policies
Develop new rules flows for complex business rules related to State and Federal government policies concerning health and human services benefits including SNAP (food Stamps), TANF, Medicaid and more
Architect and develop a highly scalable Corticon platform that allows significant enhancements and additions without compromising performance, and encapsulates existing functionality
Expose rule flows as services and optimize performance of services
Setup and tune the Corticon system for optimized performance in Production
Requirements and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience in developing software systems
5 years of experience in developing Rules based applications with at least 2 years on Corticon
Knowledge of additional rules engines is not required but is a plus
Experience in Healthcare and/or Health insurance is strongly desired
Experience with Health and Human Services benefits such as Medicaid, SNAP, TANF, etc. is also desired
Candidate should be able to work with Java developers to guide them in developing Java based extensions and custom functions for Corticon
Experience in working in dynamic, fast paced environments, showing a sense of ownership and commitment to achieving results
