Electronic Health Record Developer Job Opening in Anchorage, Alaska - Southcentral Foundation is now hiring experienced BSD Electronic Health Record Developer in our fast growing Health Information Management Department!
Southcentral Foundation (SCF) is an Alaska Native-owned, nonprofit health care organization located on the Alaska Native Health Campus serving nearly 65,000 Alaska Native and American Indian people (customer-owners) living in Anchorage, Matanuska-Susitna Valley and 55 rural villages in the Anchorage Service Unit.
SCF?s BSD Electronic Health Record Developer role is responsible for supporting application design and data reporting, reviewing and evaluating vendor upgrades and enhancements to EHR (Tier), coordinating and communicating to all consumers of the EHR and its data, development is focused on the BSD EHR (Tier) only. A Strong candidate for this role would have experience in SQL development with experience in writing stored procedure, functions, Application Front end design, Ability to view big picture of workflow, Experience with entire software life cycle, Strong communication skills: oral, written.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related degree to include programming languages, and/or equivalent training and experience.
Two (2) additional years demonstrated development experience with XML, Corepoint, Crystal Reports SQL queries, MS SQL and spreadsheets (MS Excel) or demonstrated proficiency as an Electronic Health Care Developer I at Southcentral Foundation.
Additional Qualifications for Electronic Health Care Record Developer II: Meets all requirements of Electronic Health Care Record Developer I in addition to the following:
Two (2) additional years of development experience with BSD Electronic Health Care System as well as methods for integrating with other EHR systems such as: HL7 and or direct data base access or demonstrated proficiency as an Electronic Health Care Developer II at Southcentral Foundation.
