Hospice Admissions Nurse Specialist (RN) Job Opening in Las Vegas, Nevada - CompassionCare Hospice is currently hiring for a compassionate, Full Time Admissions Nurse Specialist (RN). Please only apply if you meet the requirements listed below.

Job Summary/Objective
Responsible for managing the patient intake process, establishing and maintaining positive relationships with customers and referral sources, responding to customer requests and concerns and managing insurance processes
Minimum Requirements
Registered nurse and graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing. Valid license in good standing to practice as an RN in Nevada.
At least three years? experience in healthcare management preferred. Experience preferred in home care, Hospice or in a Managed Care environment.
Valid driver?s license with an automobile that is insured in accordance with the organizations requirements and is in good working order.
Good communications, negotiation and public relations skills. Knowledge of corporate business management, financial responsibility and government regulations and applicable standards.
Lifting Requirements:
Exerting 51 pounds and above of force occasionally, and/or 26 pounds and above frequently. Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for medium work. Standing and/or sitting for prolonged periods of time. Considerable reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling and/or crouching.
