Staff Accountant/ Senior Accountant Job Opening in Chicago, Illinois - POSITION PURPOSE We are currently seeking a Staff Accountant to join our Accounting and Finance team in Chicago, IL. Perform month-end close processes (ie. balance sheet reconciliations, general ledger review, accounts receivable management)
Provide finance operations support to multiple business segments
Compile and analyze financial information for management reports
Communicate and present monthly reviews of P&L performance and ad-hoc metrics
Assist in annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting exercises
Completion of special projects and other functions as required by manager
QUALIFICATIONS
Qualified candidates will possess 1 ? 2 years of Accounting experience, 4-7 years for Sr. Accounting role
Bachelor?s degree in Accounting or Finance required
Pursuing CPA a plus/ Masters Degree is a plus/ CPA is a plus
Prior Internship experience a plus
Strong communication and analytical skills
Self-starter with the ability to strive in a fast paced and customer service oriented environment
Strong attention to detail
Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office products
Prior PeopleSoft experience is a plus, or Oracle, SAP, or WorkDay
