Senior Accountant Job Opening in Santa Barbara, California - Resonant, Inc. (NASDAQ: RESN) is a dynamic young company providing designs to enable the fast growing wireless market which is actively used by consumers today. We are seeking a detail-oriented, experienced accountant to contribute to our Finance Team in the role of Senior Accountant. Ability to work independently to complete GAAP accounting is required. The work location for this position is in our Goleta, California office.
This position requires a BS degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics, and a minimum of 2 years in public accounting with experience in audit of private and/or public companies. This position is responsible for the following accounting operations: A/R, A/P, Payroll, Prepaids, Accruals, Fixed Asset Management, Account Reconciliations, Budget-to-Actual reporting and other Finance projects as needed. Additionally, this candidate should have ability to evaluate and recommend process improvements and efficiencies as our business grows. Other requirements: strong GAAP accounting background, strong Microsoft Office skills, ability to research and reconcile accounts, Quickbooks experience. Other preferred skills: Stock Compensation, Equity Administration, Cash Management and Budget/Forecast, bill pay system. CPA preferred.
