Duties
Responsible for the full-life sales cycle, from prospecting to close, including: lead qualification, conducting needs analysis, demonstrating solutions, negotiating contracts and closing sales.
Identify and capture revenue opportunities for targeted solutions, examining the health of the pipeline and creating strategies to improve the chances of winning deals.
Identify, understand and solve obstacles to the successful sale of Five Star solutions â?? resourcefully persuading and confidently handling objections, expertly pivoting discussions, and performing contract negotiations.
Move leads through the sales stages by determining budget, authority, interest, need and timeframe and accurately forecast opportunities.
Conduct thorough needs analysis by asking good questions, listening to the needs of the prospective customer, and making appropriate solutions recommendations â?? effectively translating findings to internal teams.
Understand complex customer business requirements, and articulate software solutions to address them.
Effectively collaborate with solutions architecture team leaders to assess needs fulfillment.
Continuously research and remain knowledgeable of industry trends and competition, fine tuning sales strategies to generate revenue.
Represent Five Star with prospects, client partners, third parties, at industry events, traveling as required (25%).
Work in partnership with Five Star marketing team to create and implement successful campaigns and sales materials.
Develop and implement processes and procedures for effective and efficient sales operations.
Qualifications, Skills & Knowledge
The Senior Sales Executive is in charge of the full sales cycle and must strategically drive engagement using highly consultative sales methodologies. Five Star is a highly collaborative work environment, and the Senior Sales Executive will be required to effectively work with internal teams, acting as quarterback when selling complex solutions. To be considered for the position, you must demonstrate:
At least 10 years of experience selling software solutions.
Proven and verifiable track record in exceeding sales quotas.
Proficiency in pipeline management and accurate forecasting.
Ability and willingness to utilize CRM tools to document and track activity as well as monitor sales performance.
