Financial Administrator Job Opening in Beaverton, Oregon - Summary:
This position is primarily responsible for overseeing and completing all responsibilities from day to day by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Takes payments for office visits, procedures and past due balances.
Completes the daily deposit report and weekly email confirmations to ensure proper payout to our Physicians and referring Optometrists.
Ensures insurance verifications are received prior to office visits and procedures.
Records fees in patient management system.
Verifies and posts details of business transactions, such as funds received and disbursed, and totals accounts to ledgers or computer spreadsheets and databases
Audits invoices against purchase orders, researches discrepancies, and approves for payment.
Computes and records charges, refunds and similar items.
Reconciles discrepancies and problems with reports
Handles center correspondence by possessing the ability to convey a concise, honest and respectful message in written and verbal communications.
Reviews, balances, and interprets reports, and makes corrections.
Assists employees, vendors, clients, or customers by answering questions related to accounts, procedures, and services.
Posts monthly payments for in house financing and follows up when post-dated checks are not valid.
Completes prior payment adjustments when an error is made and corrects in both NextGen and accounting records.
Job Requirements:
1+ years of Financial Experience or Medical Experience
Competent on Word, Excel
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Desire to Provide Exceptional Patient Experience
