Sr. Corporate Accountant Job Opening in Portland, Oregon - SENIOR CORPORATE ACCOUNTANT
Our client, a global, fast growing, public company with international operations and and cutting edge products. This position will be responsible for financial reporting, general ledger reconciliations, ensuring that the department adheres to proper SOX and internal controls standards as well as equity related activities including valuations, equity program analysis and equity reporting. Our client is fast paced and growing quickly and is looking for a driven candidate that likes the idea of being challenged while forging long lasting working relationships with individuals across Finance, Treasury, Payroll and other functions. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
BS/BA degree in Accounting, Finance or Business with three or more years in a progressive accounting role with increased responsibility
Public Accounting experience; preferably with a Big 4 firm or other large national, regional firm with publicly traded clients
The ability to problem solve in a fast paced environment with competing deadlines and priorities
The ability to work closely with individuals that are based around the globe as well as locally. Strong written and verbal communication skills are a prerequisite.
Previous International Public Company experience
PREFERRED:
CPA AND/OR MBA preferred
Ability to be a team player
Ability to understand departmental
