Inside Business Development Representative Job Opening in Columbus, Ohio - Inside Business Development reps at Status Solutions drive successful customer experiences and deliver exceptional sales support for their territory team through administrative functions, prospecting new business partners and customers, and record-keeping of all touch-points in the Salesforce CRM. Each territory consists of a team of three individuals, an outside sales manager, a sales engineer, and the inside business development person. With an emphasis on managing the pipeline of new customers, maintaining existing customer relationships, and on-boarding business partners, Inside Business Development assists their team members remotely from the Columbus, OH, office and is considered the ?glue? that holds each territory team together.

Take consultative sales approach and tell the story of situational awareness for customers
Maintain intimacy with business partners and customers, resolve customer issues and provide general sales support to sustain a positive customer experience
Drive innovation with current customer base by positioning new solutions and making recommendations for expansions/upgrades
Provide consistent communication and support to territory team and business partners
Prospect customers/partners in various markets (i.e. education, hospitality, manufacturing, healthcare)
On-board new business partners and establish relationships to identify leads from their customer base
Perform initial discovery of new opportunities, identify needs and provide solution(s) recommendations
Record all sales touch points in Salesforce CRM, keep pipeline and customer accounts up-to-date
Assist with crafting/presenting demonstrations for new customers and partners
Build long-term pipeline using generated leads in new construction
Provide customers with annual site-service and assessment agreements
Craft contracts for customers and non-disclosure agreements for new business partners
Requirements:
Degree in Business Administration, Sales/Marketing, Communications, or related field (preferred)
Prior sales experience in a solutions or (SaaS) business (preferred)
Excellent communication, and story-telling skills (required)
Capable of working on a team or independently
Self-motivated, competitive attitude
Benefits:
Full-time position
Base salary $35-40k
