Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions :
Investigate problems and develop disposition and corrective actions for recurring discrepancies. Recommend corrective actions, dispositions and modifications.
Interact with the customer via email or telephone to collect data relating to quality issues. Record this information and perform the necessary steps to discern whether or not a refund is due, if it is a processing issue on CCL side or processing issue with the Customer.
Develop and implement program quality plans, programs, and procedures using statistical quality control statistics, lean manufacturing concepts, and ELS tools and analyses. Lead and/or participate in quality process improvement projects.
Ensure performance and quality products conform to established company and regulatory standards.
Communicate the voice of the customer throughout the organization. Track trends and report on findings.
Interact as needed with Sales, Facilities, Manufacturing, and divisional technical resources to obtain information pertinent to understanding and resolving customer quality issues.
Responsible for claim entry process from initial entry to credit generation, corrective action letter follow-up, and samples to a fault location.
Perform material testing and for purchased products exhibiting either poor quality or poor performing characteristics.
Conduct all laboratory work in accordance with established and understood workplace safety principles and practices.
Provide customer requested documentation of claim details.
Follow established process for handling customer deductions forwarded by accounts receivable.
Serve as neutral party between customer and organization in claim investigation.
Provide training when needed to both team members and external personnel.

Bachelor?s degree in Engineering required
2 or more years technical experience needed, automotive a plus.
Demonstrated experience in developing and/or updating control plans and FMEA?s.
Experience with researching and issuing corrective actions.
Strong written, verbal and telephone communication skills.
Strong customer service skills
Understanding of applicable computer systems, such as Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes, and function specific software.
Strong attention to detail & organizational skills.
Strong technical aptitude.
