University Degree (Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing) or similar technical degrees with additional job experience focused on Industrial Engineering. ? HAZWOPER training a plus. ? OSHA training a plus. ? Knowledge of machining, welding, painting a plus. ? Knowledge of ISO-9001, 14001 and OHSAS-18001 a plus. ? Ability to manage multiple projects and daily tasks. ? Demonstrated excellence in interpersonal skills including communications, self-starter, positive make-happen attitude, handling multiple tasks, team player. ? Must have a passion for continuous improvement and cost reduction! Principal Responsibilities ? Oversee 5S program. ? Time-motion studies and process improvement studies. ? Post manufacturing cost analysis of custom products. ? Comparison of budgeted versus actual hours to update budget task database. ? Discover needs and justify capital improvements to manufacturing equipment. ? Investigate over budget processes and develop cost reduction programs. ? Collateral duty to administer company OHSAS-18001 safety program, including investigation of accidents and creation of measures to prevent recurrence.
