Monday through Friday, everyother weekend, Mon-Friday 11A-7P Hire ASAP Performs work in preparing and cooking a variety of food for cafeteria. Work involves preparing and cooking a wide variety of foods, some of which require special techniques. Responsibilities include: ? Prepare a large quantity of a limited number of entrees, vegetables, and desserts according to preset menus. ? Prepare, season, and cook a wide range of foods ? from soups, snacks, and salads to entrees, side dishes, and desserts. ? Create recipes and prepare meals, peel and cut vegetables, trim meat, prepare poultry, and perform other duties, such as keeping work area as clean as possible at all times. Follow a cleaning schedule for designated equipment and storage areas. ? Performs related work as required. Qualifications include: ? High School Diploma (or equivalent) ? Basic communication skills (full command of the English language). ? Ability to perform manual labor (up to 25 lbs). ? Able to stand for long periods of time and move around at a brisk pace. ? Able to work in cold/hot environments. ? Ability to perform line cooking. ? One year cook experience preferred. ? Successful completion of Maxim background screening and hiring process.
