Magazine Advertising Sales Job Opening in Rapid City, South dakota - Become an integral part of the most read magazine in the area: Black Hills Woman Magazine and our newest publication Black Hills Boomer Magazine. Position duties are as follows:
Finds new advertisers and maintain existing advertiser relationships through cold calling, meetings, emails and phone sales.
Processes contracts
Acts as a liaison between advertisers, editor and creative team for ad artwork and/or occasionally content and accounting.
Attends and coordinates networking events
Assist with billing and reports.
Updates and maintain the sales database
Adds and maintain distribution points and contacts
Distributes magazines
The ideal candidate is trustworthy, outgoing, hardworking and confident. This position requires at least two years of media sales experience, a reliable vehicle and a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Competitive pay, flexibility and paid vacation, holiday and sick leave.
