Bookkeeper/Office Manager Job Opening in Burlington, Massachusetts - Our client company located north of Boston is seeking a full-time Bookkeeper to work 8:00 am ? 5:00 pm, Monday ? Friday. This position requires a candidate with keen attention to detail, strong communication skills, excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task in a busy small office environment. Ability to execute using a proactive approach and comfortable working with all levels of staff.
Responsibilities:
Receive, sort and route incoming communications
Create and track Purchase Orders
Conduct physical inventory and monitor cycle count program
Confer with vendors to obtain product or service information, such as pricing, availability and delivery schedule
Perform Accounts Payable/ Accounts Receivables function
Using Quick Books, process vendor invoices on regular basis
Reconcile accounts
Generate timely, accurate monthly financial statements
Prepare time-sheets for payroll
Make collections calls
General space organization & upkeep
Managing office supplies
Other duties as assigned
Operations Support:
General administrative tasks such as record keeping, office organization, database entry, copying, filing, faxing, mailing.
Make travel arrangements
Manage internal management calendar
Receive visitors and incoming phone calls and mail
Schedule and set up office meetings
Expense reporting and receipts management
Skills and experience:
3-5 yrs. related accounting/office work experience
Professional, friendly attitude and excellent communication skills
Outstanding organization skills and ability to meet deadlines
Self-starter able to demonstrate ability to get the job done
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
Experience with Quick Books is a plus.
