Financial Controller Job Opening in Essex, Massachusetts - A 60-year old Steel Fabrication & Erection Company has an excellent opportunity for a financial professional to join their team. The Controller is responsible for managing all financial functions of the company as well as Human Resources while maintaining all administrative & financial records on a current and accurate basis.
Responsibilities include but may not be limited to:
Prepare annual budgets and publish monthly annual financial reports to monitor performance against budgets
Organize and implement all accounting functions to meet record keeping requirements
Manage cash flow to meet company obligations as directed by the CEO
Coordinate the annual audit with the CPA firm and CEO and produce audited financial statements
Supervise all AP/AR functions
Prepare quarterly payroll taxes
Coordinate with CEO to meet all project bonding requirements
Manage all Human Resource functions to meet federal and state government requirements
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Five to 10 years financial management experience
Experience in construction or related industry
Knowledge of construction software
Ability to supervise and manage personnel
