contract Attorney Job Opening in new york, New York - contract Attorney Company: Derivative Clearing Position: Senior Attorney Location: Downtown, New York Duration: 3-6 months Pay Rate: 100.00 hr New Consulting Position: Senior Attorney Consultant position to help with legal work. Work will include: - Regulatory - help o Respond to requests from regulators of the regulated entities o Respond to requests from global regulators for derivatives data o Plan for changes to the companies based on requirements of the Dodd-Frank Act - Contractual -- negotiate customer and third party vendor contracts - Corporate secretarial -- help maintain internal corporate secretarial records, approvals for new directors, etc. - Internal control functions -- interface with auditors, compliance, operational risk, etc. Consultant should have general working knowledge of derivatives.
