Sales/Marketing Manager Job Opening in North Haven, Connecticut - North Haven Health and Racquet has an immediate opening for a GM, Manager of Marketing and Sales to oversee sales staff and work directly with management and our marketing team, including the outside firm.
Job duties include:
*Recruit, train, motivate coach and schedule sales staff. Maintain good working relationship with staff to facilitate sales goals. Set individual and club goals and hold team accountable for these goals.
*Acheive marketing and sales objectives by contributing marketing and sales information and recommendations to ownership of Club.
*Prepare and implement actions plan for meeting sales goals. Communicate with staff and owners regarding sales, marketing and financial information regarding same.
*Quantify marketing and sales financial objectives by preparing an annual budget for Club, analyzing variances, initiating corrective actions and working closely with the management team and owners regarding sales, marketing and overall Club operation.
*Plan, develop, implement and evaluate advertising and promotions.
*Develop and implement outside sales program for sales staff. Build a culture of excitement for the sales staff.
*Work directly with the Operations Manager on the daily workings of the Club.
Qualifications:
*3 Years of proven track record of sales results in a highly competitive market.
*Must be comfortable with cold calling and prospecting plans.
*Must possess excellent customer service skills.
*Understanding of budgets and general finanace, including P&L Statements, with ability to generate excel sheets for comparisons etc.
*Excellent communication skills
