Reports to Branch Manager
Key Responsibility Areas
Actively seek to increase sales as a team and maintain current customers for the house, outside sales and counter customers using order entry and processing procedures in an accurate and efficient manner.
-Professionally, accurately and efficiently receive and process customer orders in person, on the telephone, fax, walk-ins and email to determine what products we can offer to fit customer?s applications. Focusing on correct customer specifications, purchase order numbers, release numbers, part numbers, contact names, etc.
-Accurately and professionally file and manage associated paperwork and tools generated or used in sales office; purchase orders, sales orders, delivery tickets and relevant certifications, mailing of catalogs and other promotional items, customer credits and returns, office cleanliness and personal computer scans.
Professionally participate in all facets of sales including Warehouse communication and the counter sales and Outside Sales Staff with their customers and orders.
-Having a working knowledge of inventory items in the warehouse and where they are located.
-Work with the Warehouse Manager and the production shops on scheduling of standard and ?rush? orders.
-Keep Outside Sales informed of customer?s requests and orders.
Manage time efficiently by assisting other departments during downtime.
-To prep customer orders for pick up/delivery.
-When needed assist in warehouse, receiving product, production of wire rope,
chain and nylon slings for delivery.
Working as a team with other co-workers and branches
-Help with the overall cleanliness and organization of the facility, both inside and outside
of the buildings.
-Efficiently and accurately work company wide inventory once a year or as needed. With
their product knowledge, Inside Sales are expected to be leaders during the Yearly Physical Inventory and to assist those without such knowledge.

Qualification Requirements for a position as inside salesperson:
-Ability to communicate verbally, mathematically and in writing as required for job functions
-The ability to learn and properly execute SUCCESS software; purchase orders, sales orders, and certifications
-Knowledge, practice and enforcement of safe work practices
-The ability to plan and execute complex customer requests
-Willingness and ability to adapt plans to changing circumstances
-Ability to manage time and jobs in an efficient manner
-Must be able to do physical work including but not limited coordination required by job
functions and safety requirements.
