POSITION:
The Sales Managers purpose is to generate new sales opportunities and develop additional sales with existing customers in the USA. This position works at the heart of the company?s long term industry position and establishes consistent client relations while providing base cash flow requirements. The Sales Manager is responsible for all aspects of sales & marketing as well as directing client relations. This position requires outstanding interpersonal skills, strong ethics, team building, and ability to multi-task, excellent management skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Increased market share through new and enhanced services to the refinery, petro-chemical, pulp-paper, fabrication, manufacturing and consumer products market.
Market existing inspection and new product services across the specific industry sectors.
Gather feedback from clients to help tailor customer service needs.
Establish strategic and tactical sales formats which are consistent in establishing client responses.
Effective presentation of products and services to new clients.
Review new opportunities for existing services and guide new service directions.
Develop annual sales plan, which details strategic outlines and initiate those plans into guided sales goals.
Meet sales goals and quotas.
Develop intercompany communications with existing clients and prospective clients.
Establish and build onto database of qualified leads, perform telephone canvassing, email, and initial contact records.
Establish budget.
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of 5 years of industry experience and sales experience in business development in the petroleum and chemical industry.
Excellent communication skills.
Proven history of sales success is essential.
Professional sales skills and training are preferred.
Must be self-directed, highly motivated and strategic thinker.
Strong computer skills are essential.
Strong ability to develop management level relationships.
Knowledge of refinery work practices.
Knowledge of NDT and Predictive Maintenance practices.
Proven ability to meet & exceed sales goals.
Job Type: Full-time/Part-time
Travel as required to meet the requirements of the sales plan.
