Sales Representative Job Opening in Chicago, Illinois - DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
Sell ToolsUnited Services (Internet services) to metal cutting tool manufacturers, focus on standard tooling.
Network with local distributors and sell "where-to-buy" links. Indentifiy and contract local distributors as ToolsUnited partners.
Promote ToolsUnited Services to end users (manufacturing operations).
Feed social media channels to promote ToolsUnited.
Develops a personal business plan and opportunity funnel to establish personal annual goals.
Executes business strategy in accordance with German headquarters.
Arranges joint sales trip to key customers with experts from Germnay.
Participates in special projects and performs additional duties as required.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
A High School Diploma or the equivalent is required.
An Associate?s or Bachelor?s Degree is preferred.
0-2 years outside sales experience in metal cutting is required..
Relevant military IT experience is applicable
SKILLS
Applicable knowledge of metalworking (Cutting Tools, Carbide, CNC technology, etc.) is required.
Excellent oral and written communications skills are also required.
Above average computer literacy desired.
REQUIREMENTS
A valid driver?s license is required.
Position requires daily local travel within branch or market territory.
Occasional overnight travel is also required.
Job Type: Contract
Salary: $50,000.00 to $70,000.00 /year
