Apprentice Auto Tech Job Opening in denver, Colorado - Apprentice Auto Tech APPRENTICE AUTO TECHNICIAN - We have an immediate F/T position open for an apprentice technician. REQUIREMENTS: � Own tools � ASE certifications a plus � Legal US Citizen � Clean MVR � Pass drug test � Physically fit EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: � Minimum of two years recent professional automotive repair experience. PERSONALITY REQUIREMENTS: � Must be self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook. Willing to learn. � Must be mature, credible, tolerant and professional in dealing with all other employees and staff. � Able to get along with others and be a team-player. JOB SKILLS: � Mechanical: Able to perform Oil changes, Lube services, Belts, Tires, Balancing, Alignments, and minor repairs. SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS: � Familiar with and complete maintenance repair of most automotive systems, which may include a before and after test drive. � Preventative maintenance, such as Oil changes, System checks, Fluid levels and filters, Tire rotations and changes, Alignments, etc. � Maintain internal automotive records by correctly recording specifications as well as services, repairs, and component replacements on all internal repair orders. � Maintain vehicle appearance by cleaning as necessary at the completion of the job. � Ensure proper shop service equipment operation by correctly following operating instructions, performing preventative maintenance. � Maintaining a safe, secure, and healthy service environment which includes mopping floors, organize work area of clutter, putting shop equipment away. Adhering to organization standards and policies, and to legal regulations and alerting others regarding potential concerns. � Physically fit - Repetitive: Walking, Bending, Squatting, Lifting(up to 40lbs), Working with arms over head for long periods.
