The small firm, located in Bristol, CT, now serves Not-for-Profit organizations in Connecticut, Massachusetts, Arizona, Michigan, South Carolina, Illinois and Puerto Rico.
We are currently seeking a full-time auditor to join our team. The ideal candidate should be detail-orientated, organized, willing and able to work on their own as well as in a team environment, and be motivated toward making a positive impact both on the firm and our clients.
Responsibilities
Audits of Not-for-Profit and governmental organizations 100% of the time. Not-for-Profit and governmental agencies include, but are not limited to, community development, housing, labor, and human service organizations.
Regulatory reporting with funding entities.
Work with senior and supervising auditors in planning and conducting audits in accordance with Generally Accepted Auditing Standards, including Governmental Auditing Standards, State Single Audit, and Uniform Guidance.
Work with audit programs, compliance supplements, internal control questionnaires, and agreed upon procedures.
Compliance auditing for federal and state agencies.
Potential out-of-state travel.
Qualifications:
Full-time
BA/BS in Accounting
Willingness to travel up to 20%
0-5 years auditing experience
