As a Sr. Accounting Clerk you will be responsible for:
Balancing ledgers, reconciling accounts, and preparing reports to show receipts, expenditures, accounts receivable, and payable
Maintain records of financial transactions by establishing accounts; posting transactions; ensure legal requirements compliance
Prepare various accounting statements and financial reports
Researches and resolves issues and exceptions
Payroll processing
Workers Compensation
Sales Tax processing
Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying requirements; enforcing adherence to requirements; filing reports; advising management on needed actions
Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or the equivalent in education and experience is required
Ideal candidates will also have 3-5 years of accounting experience using financial software, reporting skills, and PC proficient
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, interact positively with and receive direction from management, attention to detail, attention to detail, and uses appropriate judgement and confidentiality
Highly motivated and self-driven, capable of working with little instruction to resolve demanding tasks and tight deadlines
Desired Experience:
Experience using QFloors software a plus
Working in the Flooring and Design industry
