Sales Development Representative Job Opening in Palo Alto, California - Zugata is a Palo Alto startup taking an employee-centric, data-driven approach to help employees reach their potential. We are looking for an SDR who is excited to build Zugata?s growth capabilities and a sales team in order to help our customers reach their goals. Learn more about us. Our SDRs are on the front lines and often the first ones to talk to our prospects. The ideal candidate will bring a tremendous amount of energy, tenacity and never-give-up attitude to help Zugata grow its customer base. You will be responsible for creating highly qualified sales leads for our AEs by following up on inbound inquiries, setting up meetings for the sales team and also proactively prospecting new accounts. Successful candidates will move into AE you'll do:
Expertly qualify inbound inquiries and proactively prospect new accounts
Setup follow-up meetings and handoff to AEs
Develop relationships with buyers (HR directors, C-level executives)
Meet and exceed monthly quota of sales accepted leads
Diligently log activity as well as update account information in CRM
Collaborate with the rest of the company to understand customer/market needs
Mentor new hires
What you can bring:
Minimum of 1 year of prior SDR experience, ideally with SaaS technologies in B2B environments
Strong personal ambition AND desire for collaborative teamwork
Ability to work in a rapidly expanding and fast-paced startup environment (i.e. willingness to multi-task and dive in when help is needed)
Curiosity to learn new skills and openness to be coached
Self-motivated, hardworking, competitive and proactive disposition
Strong business acumen
Excellent communication skills
Superior time management skills
Bachelor?s degree preferred
