About us:
Corbus Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is a clinical stage biopharmaceutical company focused on the development and commercialization of novel therapeutics to treat life threatening ("orphan") diseases with clear unmet needs. Our lead product Resunab? is a first- in-class small molecule oral anti-inflammatory which commenced Phase-2a clinical trials for the treatment of cystic fibrosis, scleroderma and dermatomyositis in 2015.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior Accountant will report to the Controller and will take the lead role in managing the accounting and forecasting for all project costs related to clinical trials and research and development as well as assisting the Controller in the accurate preparation of internal and external financial reports
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the accounting of accruals for clinical trial costs and related project accounting, including analysis of new contracts for proper accounting.
Prepare journal entries and monthly general ledger reconciliations for all accounts.
Prepare monthly actual to budget reports and assist with updating the forecast.
Responsible for the stock-based compensation process including managing grant documents and processing transactions (grants, exercises, etc.) in the Company?s stock option software and calculating stock-based compensation expense per ASC 718.
Maintain current statement of stockholders? equity and related cap tables and manage related transactions thereto.
Lead the bi-weekly payroll process and prepare related journal entries.
Assist with the preparation of accounts payable for check runs or electronic payments
Review of appropriate general ledger account numbers on expense reports and vouchers.
Assist the Controller in the quarterly reviews and annual audit process with external auditors, including the preparation of SEC documents (Forms 8-k, 10-Q, 10-K, etc.)
Monitoring and compliance with internal controls requirements in accordance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX)
Manage and update forecast model for all clinical and manufacturing costs.
Ad hoc projects as needed (census forms, miscellaneous tax forms, 1099 assistance, insurance renewals, etc.)
Requirements:
CPA or CPA track, with 2-4 years public accounting experience and knowledge of GAAP
1+ year of industry experience preferable ( in a pharmaceutical or life sciences setting a plus!)
Strong computer skills, specifically Excel and Word
Detail-oriented, ?roll up your sleeves? team player
Exceptional interpersonal skills to thrive in our value-driven culture
