Customer Service/Sales Support Representative Job Opening in Birmingham, Alabama - Manufacturing company in the Trussville area needs Customer Service Superstar! This position will be a combination of Customer Service, Sales Support and light Accounting. Being willing to learn on the job, a friendly demeanor and enjoyment of working with a team are a must. Job Functions:
Answer all incoming calls
Order and data entry
Update various spreadsheets and other general administrative duties as needed
Generate and send invoices for customer shipments
Support all intercompany departments including Sales, Purchasing, Accounting and Production
Filing, scanning and emailing paperwork
Submit freight quote requests, communicate pickups/deliveries
Respond to and/or forward email
Take detailed messages and forward to the appropriate person(s)
Required Qualifications:
Pleasant telephone personality a must
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Positive attitude and patience
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
Dependable team player
Consistent follow-through
Ability to multi task, prioritize and manage time effectively
Three + years in a customer service/office setting
Manufacturing experience a plus
Computer Skills: Strong Excel, Outlook and Access
