MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER Job Opening in NEW YORK, New York - Seeking Mechanical Design Engineer to work on mechanical design and construction of company's special purpose supercomputers. In this position you will help draft and build custom sheet metals parts, collaborate with team on all phases of system development from concept to delivery. Company offers above market compensation and relocation.
Requirement:
- BS in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience with Solidworks and/or PTC Creo (Pro/Engineer)
- Prior experience working for a reputable CM such as Foxconn, Celestica, etc.
- Demonstrated ability to design complex, large-scale electronic systems
- Cabinet rack systems experience with integrated power and cooling
- Custom cooling solutions (including liquid cooling) for high-power ICs and high performance equipment
- Thermal and mechanical analysis
- AC and DC power systems
- Sheet metal chassis and enclosures
- Experience with CFD Software (Flotherm, Icepack)
