Traveling Superintendent Job Opening in Albuquerque, New mexico - Currently seeking Traveling Superintendents for Multifamily work throughout the Southwest. Both Traveling and local positions available. Dire hire opportunities!
Key responsibilities for the Traveling Multifamily Superintendent will include:
Establish and develop professional relationships with on-site staff, providing leadership to them
Develop a thorough understanding of each subcontract, drawings and specifications
Proactively identify design deficiencies, code violations and any other issues
Develop, refine, and update project schedules to ensure all milestones are identified and tracked
Communicate schedule updates to all subcontractors and vendors
Ensure that subcontractors regularly communicate and enforce their safety programs in order to meet OSHA safety standards
Review the subcontractor's daily progress of work completed and deliver daily reports to the project team
Consistently lead projects through comprehensive completion by establishing aggressive dates and schedules
Requirements:
Experience as the lead Superintendent on a minimum of 2 ground up multifamily / healthcare / hospitality projects
Experience in working with stick frame
Garden style and / or podium style project experience
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Experienced in scheduling, ordering, field supervision, quality control, and production of all phases of commercial construction.
Experience as a traveling commercial building construction superintendent.
