Customer Account Representative Job Opening in Marietta, Georgia - Summary:
To ensure effective communication between customers and the Company. Also responsible for organizing and coordinating office operations and procedures in order to ensure organizational effectiveness and efficiency.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Serve as key point of contact for assigned customers to assist with order fulfillment, order tracking, billing discrepancies and product quality.
Process new orders utilizing email, fax, mail, website or EDI including checking drawing revisions, price, due date and availability.
Check for new orders daily in customer?s portal system, verifying accuracy of data.
Respond to all customers inquires.
Interact with Sales Manager?s, Manufacturing, Quality and Engineering Department to address issues, communicate potential sales and request for quotes (RFQ).
Maintain appropriate customer documentation as required. Includes quotes, customer contact information, and customer shipping addresses.
Process, Acknowledge, File and Maintain customer open and closed purchase orders.
Conduct receptionist and administrative duties - answer incoming calls, ordering supplies, meeting preparations, greeting customers and vendors .
Process and Research customer?s returns, issue credits and update database with disposition and non-conformance details.
Run Invoice Reports and Mail or Email Invoices to customer?s based on their specification.
Kn owledge, Skills and Attributes:
Must be task oriented, with the ability to adjust multiple priorities in a short period of time.
Ability to handle input from numerous sources including management, engineering, and production.
Understanding of Accounting Principles.
Qualifications:
1 or more years experience in customer service role.
Experience in manufacturing a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
Ability to communicate with other team members, visitors and customers in an effective, pleasant, courteous and tactful manner.
Computer experience with Windows, Excel, Word, and Microsoft Outlook.
English language proficiency, to include verbal and written communication.
Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings.
