Live-in Supervisor Group Home $1600/month Job Opening in Raleigh, North carolina - THIS IS A LIVE-IN OVERNIGHT POSITION;MUST BE AVAILABLE 5-6 NIGHTS A WEEK, including Every other weekend*
WE PROVIDE ON-THE-JOB TRAINING
Assure all rights listed in the Adult Care of Home residents Bill of Rights are adhered to and the assistance available to exercise these rights.
Assure confidentiality regarding each resident and residents? charts.
Assure proper record keeping in all areas.
Assure purchase of all food, supplies, and equipment to meet the needs of each resident in dietary, activities, drugs, and total care.
Responsible for meeting visitors, responsible parties, and dealing with family members.
Assure there is a sign out register.
Assure personal contact with residents.
Assure help with all personal care with residents as needed.
Assure medical needs of each resident are appropriate and met within the home.
Assess and intervene or disposition to other community caretakers incidents or needs for all residents that require special attention outside the home ?Medical or psychiatric treatment?.
Assure transportation is provided or arranged as required.
Assure proper administration of all medications, medication storage, medication reorders, records, and treatments as ordered by an attending physician are relevant to minimum standards.
Assure provision for 14 hours of planned activity per week.
Assure proper record keeping in managing resident funds.
Assure proper reporting of all
Assistant consultants, physicians, or other healthcare providers to ensure overall medical care.
Assure all compliance in sanitation, safety requirements, and building code requirements as required by the state of NC.
Assure all personnel regulations are met.
Assure participation in personal continued education. Assure that duties are performed and properly documented.
Assure all staff is familiar with and able to apply all the homes, accidents, fire safety, and emergency procedures.
Assure all staff is familiar with Adult Care Home resident Bill of Rights and assist residents in exercising these rights.
Assure cooperation/liaison to all local, regional, and state agencies concerned with licensure and monitoring or any other persons or institutions concerned with residents? mental and physical health, financial well-being, etc, (ex: NC Division of Human Resources, NC Division on Aging, Ombudsman, Community Advisory Committee, Wake County Dept of Social Services, Wake County Mental Health, Wake Med Hospital, Wake County Health Dept., Wake County shelter workshop, Physician, dentist, volunteers, families and others)
Assure 12 hours continued education per year.
Review and manage complaints and grievances.
Serve on grievance and suggestions committee.
Perform other duties as required by circumstance.
